Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. For the past several years, this website has been your reliable source for background information on the Tazewell County Board, my political efforts, recent political columns, newspaper articles, calendar of events, and other useful information. As I continue to move forward, it is my intention to continue this communication.

Please note the recent addition of a Tazewell County Clerk page to this website as I have decided not to seek re-election to the Tazewell County Board but instead to seek election to the position of Tazewell County Clerk in the upcoming election on November 4th, 2014.

After more than seven years of proudly serving the Citizens of Tazewell County on the County Board, and very fortunate to have received the highest level of voter support in every election, which I am extremely thankful for, I feel I have accomplished the task I campaigned on and have fulfilled my commitment to the Taxpayers of Tazewell County. Many of the changes I have proposed during my time on the Tazewell County Board have now been picked up by fellow Tazewell County Board Members and I am confident they will continue to improve what has been started.

After fielding countless recommendations and advice from the Citizens of Tazewell County, and after serious consideration with my family, I have decided now is the time to move forward and take on a new challenge. After carefully reviewing the current status of the Tazewell County Clerk's Office, I pledge to A) Improve Communication from the Tazewell County Clerk's Office, B) Grow and Strengthen Constituent Service within the Tazewell County Clerk's Office, and C) be an advocate for Tazewell County Values. As we get closer to the November 4th Election I will be posting more information on my goals for improvements to the Tazewell County Clerk’s Office.

This website has served to accomplish my goal of greater communication and availability of information, and this will continue to be a major goal in my campaign for Tazewell County Clerk. Successful government only has a chance to work properly when the elected officials have meaningful information from the citizen/taxpayers and I encourage you to help me with this by providing your honest input. Together, we can continue to strengthen and grow Tazewell County and the State of Illinois.
